Coronavirus Safety at TUSC Events

TUSC is working hard to coordinate hybrid-style events for students this semester. We will follow all safety protocols set by the University, and we hope that all members of the Tufts community are happy and healthy through these difficult times.

What We're Doing:

At in-person events, we're taking attendance via JumboLife to assist with Contact Tracing efforts as needed. We've added hand sanitizer stations, social distance markings, and barriers at our grab-n-go stations, and confirm all of our event volunteers have completed their daily health screening and are up to date on their routine testing. All of our volunteers sanitize their hands regularly, at least every 30 minutes. Any vendor who comes onto campus must follow the protocols outlined by the University, including proof of a negative COVID-19 test.

What You Can Do:

Everyone's safety is our top priority. To help keep your peers and TUSC members safe, please follow these guidelines when attending in-person grab-n-go style events:

ID.png
have your tufts id ready.

We'll need to scan the barcode on the front of your ID, so have it out and ready to scan to keep from delaying the line. Please remove from wallets/cases.

Sanitize.png
sanitize your hands.

We will provide a hand sanitizer station just before the table. Please be sure to sanitize both hands before proceeding to the table.

Grab n Go.png
in-person events are grab-n-go.

This means once you receive your items, you should disperse from the area. Please do not congregate in groups or stay behind waiting for friends.

For additional information, visit coronavirus.tufts.edu or email covid19@tufts.edu.

Sick.png
Stay home if you feel sick.

If you have any symptoms of COVID-19 such as a cough, fever, or difficulty breathing, contact Health Services immediately.

Mask.png
wear your mask.

You are required to have your mask on at all times. It should be covering your nose. If you need a mask, you may pick one up at the Mayer Campus Center Information Booth.

Wait.png
maintain social distancing.

Wait in line on the yellow line markers. Only one person per marker.

Please observe the line markers when in front of the table to maintain proper distancing from our volunteers.

help.png
ask if you have a question.

We know this new normal can be confusing or overwhelming. Any TUSC volunteer is identifiable by a gray polo and name tag, and is here to help!
