Senior Week is filled with celebratory events for seniors and will begin Monday, May 13 with the President's Brunch, and culminates on Sunday, May 19 with the Commencement Ceremonies. All TUSC sponsored activities are open to students who will graduate in May 2024, December 2023, or February 2024. Exchange students are not eligible to participate in Senior Week activities. All attendees agree to the Senior Week Social Policy.
Senior Week 2024 Events
Off-Campus Event Shuttles
Shuttles for all off-campus events will depart from the Upper Patio of the Campus Center on Professors Ave. For some events where there is no staging area for check-in at the venue, you will be required to check-in with your ticket and student ID inside Remis Sculpture Court before boarding the bus. Please follow the directions in the individual event details above.

Senior Week Tickets
Tickets for Senior Week 2024 will go on sale on May 2, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. on TuftsTickets.com (credit card only) and at the Campus Center Information Booth (cash or JumboCash only). While each event is individually priced, if you plan to participate in all Senior Week events, tickets will cost approximately $100 in total (plus any applicable credit card transaction fees). You must purchase an individual ticket for each event; there is no single "full week" ticket option.
Students who are identified as high need (EFC of $10,000 or less) will have access to tickets at no cost, but must still reserve tickets for any ticketed event.

Common issues

If you receive an error message "tickets not on sale for your user type" simply email ocl@tufts.edu (do not call) to request your user type be updated. This is typically resolved within an hour if during business hours (Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.).

If you are placed in the virtual waiting room, do not refresh or attempt to log in on multiple browsers.

Tickets are held in your cart for 10 minutes. If you do not complete your transaction in 10 minutes, your ticket will be released. If you see that tickets are sold out, wait 10 minutes and try again as tickets may become available if people do not complete their transaction.

Tickets will sell out fast. Do not wait to get your tickets.

Tickets for all events are limited based on venue capacity. Non-ticketed events are on a first come, first served basis while supplies last.

Security at off-campus venues during Senior Week is much stricter than campus events. Venue security staff will be checking government issued photo IDs and will deny entry if the photo ID presented does not match the name that appears on the scanner when a ticket is scanned. Duck Tours are particularly strict as they need a detailed manifesto of people onboard each boat per USCG regulations.
Attempting to use someone else’s ID or a fake ID is against both federal and state law, and can result in legal consequences at the venue’s discretion (not Tufts’). Students will also be subject Tufts disciplinary action including being banned from future Senior Week events and your ability to participate in Commencement.

Baccalaureate Ceremony
The University Chaplaincy is deeply glad to welcome the Class of 2024 and their families to the in-person Baccalaureate Ceremony at Gantcher Family Sports and Convocation Center on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at 3pm.

Phase I
All Tufts schools participate in the All-University Commencement ceremony on the Academic Quad. It includes the Academic Procession, the awarding of honorary degrees, the All-University Commencement address, recognition of faculty emeriti, presentation of degree candidates by school and the granting of degrees by the Tufts University Board of Trustees.

Phase II
Phase II of Commencement at Tufts consists of individual department and school ceremonies. It is at these ceremonies that graduates’ names are announced and students are individually recognized.
​
Tickets are not required for either Phase I or Phase II.

Residence Hall Closing
Seniors living in campus housing must vacate from their on-campus housing by noon on Monday, May 20, 2024.

Given annually to a senior who demonstrates both marked ability as a speaker and a high sense of public responsibility, this senior is invited to speak during the Baccalaureate Service at Commencement.
