Do you want to design the Tufts Class of 2024’s banner?

The Assignment

Tufts’ annual class banner-designing contest is finally open! Our class banner represents the Class of 2024 and hangs in the Campus Center where everyone can see it for years to come!

The submission deadline is Sunday, February 21, 2021 at 11:59 pm. The winner will receive a $100 prize in Jumbo Cash. If someone in your residential cohort wins, your whole cohort also wins a catered meal from a local restaurant of your cohort’s choice.

Submission Requirements

  • The banner will be 49” wide by 120” long

  • Please provide vector art

  • Accepted file formats:

    • .AI: Short for Adobe Illustrator, this file is commonly used in print media and digital graphics, such as logos.

    • .EPS: Encapsulated PostScript is an older type of vector graphics file. .eps files don’t support transparency in the way more modern file formats like .ai do.

    • .SVG: The Scalable Vector Graphics format is based in XML (a markup language used widely across the Internet that's readable by both machines and humans). It’s useful for the web, where it can be indexed, searched, and scripted.

  • Make sure to include a .JPEG version as well!

  • Do not use any copyrighted content

    • Must be your original artwork

  • Technical requirements can be found here!

Get Started!

If you’re looking for inspiration, you can find past years’ banners hanging from the second-floor staircase of the Mayer Campus Center (or you can see them all here!).

Please make sure to only submit designs that are your original work.

All submissions must be submitted using this form prior to February 21, 2021.
