Fitness Programs

Each week, TUSC hosts a variety of fitness classes that are free and open to the Tufts undergraduate community (with Tufts ID) in Hill Hall Aerobics Room. These programs will range from Zumba, kickboxing, yoga, Tai-chi, and HIIT sessions. All programs will be hosted by certified student instructors, and are open to all experience levels at no cost to the students. Discover a new activity, or show off your skills! Classes are first-come, first-served with no pre-registration required. 

To enter, please use the door on the rear of Hill Hall (on Boston Ave, near the Tufts mailroom).

Who can attend fitness classes?

All Tufts undergraduate and graduate students with a Tufts ID.

Do classes cost money?

No! Classes are free for students with a Tufts ID.

How often do classes meet?

Each class meets weekly during the academic semester. Please arrive five minutes prior to class start time. Join the TUSC Fitness GroupMe to receive updates about class cancellations here! The fitness program also offers some special events throughout the semester. Follow @tufts.tusc on Instagram to see our events!

Where are classes located? 

Classes are held in the Hill Hall Aerobics Room. The entrance is located behind Hill Hall to the right of the mail room.

 

Do I need equipment or prior experience?

No! Classes are designed to be open to all-levels and equipment is provided.

Who are the instructors?

All classes are led by student instructors who have extensive training or a certification in their discipline.

How can I apply to be an instructor?

We typically open applications for fitness instructor positions towards the end of each semester. Follow @tufts.tusc on Instagram to see when the application is posted.
